New private home sales in Singapore fell 47.6% in August from a month earlier. Analysts attributed this to the lack of launches during the Hungry Ghost month.
The number of units launched for sale fell by 66.7% month-on-month to 134.
Analysts expect sales to pick up with Singapore’s status as a secure regional hub and the nation’s quick shift to endemic living.
